smelled smoke and alerted her. she initially thought it was her house that was on fire, but quickly realized it was her neighbors. she sprang into action and went and bank on the door and got them awake. firefighters had trouble getting the blaze under control because of the wind. once they did, everything was ok. one firefighter was injured in all this, with guns to the neck and was taken to local hospital. -- with burns to the neck. the house is a complete loss. firefighters or boarding up the house. officials still investigating the cause. everyone in this situation is very lucky and it is all thanks to a neighbor's dog. that neighbor had a little damage to the house, but she is saved this morning. >> thank you.
